Our Mission is Clear
BBQs for the Brave operates to provide essential warmth and support to active-duty and reserve soldiers through hearty barbecues and nourishing meals, demonstrating our appreciation for their sacrifices.
Our Impact
This project started with one barbecue: one unit, one meal, one moment of relief. Since then, it has grown into a grassroots effort supporting active-duty and reserve soldiers across Israel.
Our impact isn’t measured in big headlines or statistics. It’s in the small things: a soldier eating something fresh for the first time in days. A unit gathered around a grill, smiling for a moment in the middle of an exhausting deployment. A message of care that travels thousands of miles. From New York to a base in Israel, in the form of food and fire.
Every contribution makes this possible. We’re not an organization. We’re just two people, and now a growing community, doing something tangible to support those doing the hard work on the ground.
Community-Driven Support
This project is run entirely by individuals, not an organization. It started with one BBQ and grew through the efforts of friends, volunteers, and donors who care. Together, we’re showing up in small but meaningful ways, one BBQ at a time.
Meaningful Meals
We bring hot, nourishing food directly to bases. For many, it’s their first real meal in days: a moment to pause, eat well, and feel cared for.
Transparent Giving
Every dollar donated goes directly towards providing meals and barbecues for soldiers, ensuring that contributors can see the impact of their generosity.

Make a donation
When you donate to BBQs for the Brave, you’re helping us bring hot, homemade meals to IDF soldiers on active and reserve duty. A real meal, grilled on-site and shared together, goes a long way in lifting spirits & showing care.
This effort started with one barbecue for a friend’s unit. Since then, it's grown thanks to others who wanted to help. We keep it simple and personal; every contribution helps feed more soldiers.
